Formally limited to 19200 the -Universal modem is available in two versions catering for slow and fast communications. The slow version covers 1200 to 4800bps and the fast from 9600bps to 57600bps.

SAW technology as given way to PLL crystal locked quality permitting extended temperature operation both above and below zero and faster data throughput.
