The RTcomTM Legion has been designed around the
ACOP testing procedure, taking into
account your legal requirements and ensuring that you
comply with L8 ACOP. The traditional approach through
temperature control is a labour intensive operation
requiring site attendance and in most cases travel costs.
Coupled with the frequency of testing this can cost a
considerable amount of money per annum. L8 stipulates
that temperature monitoring should be carried out once a
month on all sentinel taps on your cold and hot water
systems.
Radio-Tech has designed a cost effective method of monitoring individual or multiple sites remotely using radio technology, removing the cost of expensive personnel and travel costs. The RTcomTM Legion allows you to utilise your personnel more effectively, avoiding a labour intensive operation and reducing your costs at the same time. As the system is fully automated, you are assured that the results taken are accurate and are achieved in a controlled manner thereby eliminating the potential human error factor.
RTcomTM Legion is battery operated so there is no additional drain on your electricity bills. The unit has been designed to have a battery life that exceeds 3 years and requires no maintenance once fitted. With it's built in alerts you will be notified by either email or text message should your system fail to reach the required levels indicated in L8 ACOP. Meanwhile, during standard operation your results can be stored electronically for over 5 years, giving you the data to prove that you are carrying out the testing and monitoring in accordance with your legal requirements. This data can also be used to ensure your water heating system is working at its optimum levels saving you money by reducing your gas and electricity consumption.
