Repeaters and Boosters
Our range of boosters take in transmissions from low-powered transmitters and re-broadcast them at more powerful frequencies. They can be used to take data from difficult locations, such as basements or deep meter pits, and ensure it reaches the collection point. The boosters can also be used to convert a drive-by metering system into a fixed-network one, via fitting boosters on lamp-posts and placing data concentrators in strategic locations about the site.

869/153 Pulse Counting Booster
- Takes in transmissions from short-range 869MHz transmitters and sends them on at our higher-powered 153Mhz UK licensed band.
- Site within 100m of the 869Mhz transmitter.
- Re-transmission range of up to 2.5km.
- Takes in pulse counts and re-transmits every 6 hours.
- ATEX-approved variant is available for working with gas.
869/169 Pulse Counting Booster
- Takes in transmissions from short-range 869MHz transmitters and sends them on via the more powerful 169MHz ERMES band.
- Site within 100m of the 869Mhz transmitter.
- Re-transmission range of up to 2.5km.
- Takes in pulse counts and re-transmits every 6 hours.
- ATEX-approved variant is available for working with gas.
434MHz Repeater

- Transceiver takes in signals from nearby transmitters and passes them on.
- Operates from 230V mains power supply.
- Use to pass on signals to a data concentrator or AMR receiver where coverage is insufficient.
- Range of up to 200m.
