Combined electricity / gas / water Automatic Meter Reading
Using Radio-Tech's patented wireless Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) system combined with Global Net gives the user the ability to have a cross referenced total asset management solution. One can combine water, gas, electricity and other information together to determine when and where peaks and troughs of usage are.
These can be time and location correlated to see the effects of one resource on another. For example, in a building where both heating and cooling systems are installed these can sometimes both be on simultaneously fighting each other to try and maintain the right office temperature but wasting costly energy in the process.
You can also record the lowest flows per day of each resource to identify if equipment has been left on overnight, there is a water leak in the system or the heating is being wasted on an empty building.
We supply products into the new and retro-fit markets. In the new meter market we are working with a number of leading manufacturers to embed our technology into their meters. In the retro-fit market we can supply Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) transmitters with reed switch assembles for pulse, IR heads for electricity meters, interrogation circuits for touch read, optical encoders and many other formats. This enables us to read a vast range of existing meters.
